Mike Anderson resides in Mankato, Minnesota with his wife Jill, 8 year old son Ben, and 2 year old daughter Hannah Rose, where he works as an elevator service mechanic. Born and raised in northern Minnesota, Mikes love for waterfowling began at the age of 8 on the beaver ponds and sloughs of the North Woods with his dad and his uncle. Mike has since hunted from Canada down to Arkansas for both ducks and geese, with his favorite being late fall big water mallards in both the Dakotas and Minnesota. His love for waterfowling brought him to the contest stage for the first time in 2004, where he won the Minnesota State duck calling contest, which qualified him for the World Duck Calling Championship .Since Mike has many top finishes in both duck and goose calling contests and two regional wins. The northern Illinois regional in 2005 and the Eastern Kansas open in 2007. Mike works as a goose guide in the fall and also enjoys playing amateur baseball, fishing, ice fishing , and deer hunting.
