
Steve was a born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He has fished and hunted the region since a young child and has hunted big game on the Alaska Peninsula and Arctic Circle as well as in most of the western states. He has harvested trophy class elk, mule deer, antelope, caribou and moose.
Steve has focused on waterfowl for the past 30 years and became active in contest

calling in 2001 and represented Oregon at the 2006 World Championship in Stuttgart. He was also one of the founders of the Oregon Waterfowl Festival.
Steve is a "big water" hunter and primarily hunts the public shorelines of the Columbia River headwaters in eastern Washington and westward to its estuary near Astoria. He focuses primarily on mallard shooting and will cover allot of country in order to do so.
