Tim was born in Macon Georgia where he was introduced to hunting at the age of four. It wasnt long after that it was obvious to his family that he had a passion for all types of hunting as he followed his father Royce in the field with his daisy "Spittn Image" BB gun any chance he got.

 His father Royce was a military officer which meant moving the family around the world every year or two. During one of those moves, Tim was introduced to waterfowl hunting in the early 1970's when they were stationed in Omaha Nebraska.  After one hunt on a small farm pond in rural Nebraska, he was hooked. His father began teaching him to call on a OLT double reed in those days. He later purchased his first  RNT duck call in 1989 and competed in his first duck calling contest in 1995, a meat style which he won.

 He now lives in the town of Los Banos in Californias central valley, a major stopping area for the pacific flyway. He works as a fire Captain on Californias central coast in Monterey County where he has for the past twenty five years. He is married to his wife Ann of twenty years and has three daughters, Jessica 20, Meagan 16 and Hollie 12.  He has competed in duck calling contests on and off for fifteen years winning many meat style contest. Recently Tim has qualified for the Worlds Duck Calling contest three of the last four years with a twelth place finish his first time in 2006. He has been with the RNT Pro-Staff for many years and is also with Avery Outdoors. 

 Tim hunts ducks primarily in the grasslands near his hometown of Los Banos where he is in the field as many days as a firefighter's schedule will allow during California's 100 day season. If he is not hunting locally, he is traveling the state of California,  Missouri and Arkansas to hunt with friends and family. "I am blessed to get hunt the places I do and with the people I do, most could only dream. It has been a great time".
