Born in Paragould in 1951. Graduated high school in 1969. Attended Southern Baptist (now Williams B
aptist) and ASU. Worked in railroad construction in and around the Stuttgart-Pine Bluff area for 18
years. Managed Marie's Package Store for 20 years (during the same time span). Have 2 children--Lacey--a sophomore at ASU and Dustin--a Junior at Greene County Tech. Began duck hunting at 8 and starting calling on my on at 10. Professional guide for 35 years. Consider the timber my true home. Miss a few days hunting now but ran off a string of consistent days of over 16 years. Mallards are actually the number 3 passion. Teal and quail were my addiction. WERE! Out of the guide business but still carry much of the love of the Sport. Probably rather call than shoot now but the thrill of pass-shooting a high bird still remains. Enjoy hunting with friends, reminesing, tellin' tall tales, a good drink o whiskey, making people laugh and having a good time.
