About The Show

It’s 365 days of waterfowl. It’s designing, building, selling, promoting, teaching, learning,
and servicing the best custom duck and goose calls in the world. It’s running
ragged all across the country, giving seminars, attending shows, in-store
promotions, special appearances, competing on the calling contest trail, and of
course chasing ducks and geese. It’s about the friends, family, and
personalities. It’s being the all time leader of World Championship calling
titles. It’s 30 years of tradition. It’s having that can’t-sleep passion, which
is unexplainable to many, which fuel our desire to chase and play this crazy
game, even under the most extreme conditions. It’s RNT-V. It’s What We Do.
RNT-V is a reality based show that centers around RNT Calls,
Inc. today’s leading manufacturer of custom duck and goose calls. The show is
unique in that it truly shows a behind the scenes look at what it is to be a
hardcore waterfowler, to juggle running a waterfowl related business, film and
produce an all waterfowl television program, while still finding time to spend
with family and friends. It is like no other show on outdoor television.
Viewers will get to witness first hand, the total process of designing,
developing, building, and testing new products before they are even out, along
with tagging along with the RNT crew as they scour the countryside chasing
waterfowl from Canada to Arkansas.
There are 13 original waterfowl episodes with two-thirds of
the program being nonstop waterfowl hunting action and roughly one-third shop
work/ product development. There will also be various episodes with visits from
RNT to sponsors facilities to showcase their own products and some of their own
design and manufacturing process.
There is no one particular host. The RNT crew
has a vast array of personalities from Butch Richenback 1972 World Duck Calling
Champion and 1975 Champion of Champion and founder of RNT, Jim Ronquest RNT-V’s
Producer and World Champion Duck Caller, John Stephens 3 time World Champion
Duck Caller and President of RNT, to other well known RNT employees and
pro-staffers. Every episode is different; unlike most outdoor programming today
we have a balance of hunting action with a little human-interest twist that
keeps viewers watching. We truly have a story to tell.
